'AQUAMAN' Likely to Become Biggest DC Movie Since 'The Dark Knight Rises'

“DC's latest film, Aquaman, which was released in December 2018, starting to become the biggest hit for the franchise since the 2012 Batman: The Dark Knight Rises.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, in the Christmas period, this movie has earned $751.8 million worldwide. This puts the movie on prediction to reach over $900 million after it leaves theaters.

The DC film that reached $1 billion so far is still achieved by Batman: The Dark Knight Rises by Christopher Nolan in 2012. Whether Aquaman will defeat The Dark Knight Rises remains to be seen.

This also puts Aquaman likely to defeat Wonder Woman, a DC film that reached $ 821.8 million Worldwide in 2016.

This became very interesting as during the first opening weekend, Aquaman had the lowest numbers compared to other DC Universe movies.
