Disney+ Streaming Service Will Carry The Entire 'Disney Movie Library'

“According to Disney CEO Bob Iger, this will now be the place for all Disney films.”

Disney Plus is an online video streaming service that will set to launch this year, and will focus on Movie & TV content by Walt Disney Studios.

During a recent meeting, Bob Iger revealed some new information about Disney Plus. He confirmed that the entire of their movie library would be available soon after the initial launch of the service. This is what he said.

Disney did have an agreement with Netflix that allowed them early access to their new films. However, Disney ended the partnership in order to bring their newer titles to Disney Plus streaming within a year of their theatrical release. Bob Iger explained that Captain Marvel, which was recently released in theaters, will be the first title to head to their upcoming streaming service.

Some of the original film being produced for the service includes the live-action Lady and the Tramp movie, a High School Musical series, a live-action Star Wars show The Mandalorian and also some Marvel shows based on characters like Loki, Scarlet Witch and Vision.

Disney+ streaming service has not yet informed about the launch date or price set, but we will keep you posted for further details.
